QuickBooks Online is the default ledger for owner-run businesses and their bookkeepers. Intuit raised prices on Essentials, Plus and Advanced for renewals on or after August 1, 2026. As of October 5, 2026, the pricing page lists Simple Start at $38, Essentials at $85, Plus at $140 and Advanced at $340 a month. Intuit says Advanced now includes Bill Pay Elite and industry tools for construction and professional services. Its AI features, branded Intuit Intelligence, are bundled into paid plans with no separate price. A firm on Plus now pays $1,680 a year at list. Moving off QuickBooks mid-year to save a few hundred dollars rarely beats the cost of a messy migration, so the sensible move is to review your plan at year-end close.
