ServiceTitan pricing page lists 3 per-tech packages, still no published prices

ServiceTitan updated its pricing page this week, but you still need a sales call to learn what any tier costs. That matters most at renewal.

What happened

ServiceTitan's pricing page, updated this week, lists three per-technician packages (Starter, Essentials and The Works), each with a "Request Pricing" button and no published price. All three list dispatching, scheduling, call booking, invoicing, pricebook, mobile estimates, advanced reporting, commission tracking and customizable memberships, and The Works lists "Configurable Payroll" where the other two list "Payroll Management."

What it means for a 10-to-50-person business

The page tells you the tier names and that you pay per technician. It does not tell you the price or what separates Starter from Essentials, because their feature lists are word-for-word the same. The snapshot also does not show what changed from the previous version, so editors should confirm before publishing. The practical effect is that your rep sets the number. Take a 20-person HVAC shop with 9 techs. Assume a quote of $300 per tech per month, which is our assumption and not a ServiceTitan figure. That is $32,400 a year. A 5% increase at renewal adds $1,620. You cannot check that against a public list, so get the package name, the per-tech rate and the feature differences in writing. Who should care: current ServiceTitan customers renewing in the next 90 days, and shops comparing it with Housecall Pro or Jobber. Who can ignore it: anyone mid-contract with no plans to switch.

What to do
Ask your vendor

If your ServiceTitan renewal falls in the next 90 days, email your rep this month and ask for your package name, your per-technician rate and a written list of what Essentials includes that Starter does not, before you sign anything.

Questions owners ask

Does ServiceTitan publish its prices anywhere?

Not on its pricing page. All three packages show "Request Pricing" and no dollar figure.

What is the difference between Starter and Essentials?

The page does not say. Both list the same features. Ask your rep to put the difference in writing.

Is The Works worth it for payroll alone?

The page only says The Works has "Configurable Payroll" instead of "Payroll Management." Ask for a demo of the payroll difference before paying for the higher tier.

Three to five of these, every weekday morning.
